Laka

Laka was the entry from Bosnia and Herzegovina for the Eurovision song contest. He is a total nut, but he is my absolute favorite person this week. I actually sat here and watched him on Bosnian television (with handy translator by my side)the other day and when he talked about his time in NYC working at a moving company and how awesome the black people were to him, it brougt a nostalgic tear to my eye.

Anyway this dude is like a Bosnian hybrid of Peewee Herman, Manu Chao, and Hutz from Gogol Bordello, but incredibly humble despite his artsy ambitions. This song isn't for everyone but I totally adore it and the performance!
