Sound Species - Can We Call It Love? feat Ahu

the dudes of Sound Species

I don't know much about Sound Species besides the fact that they are out of UK, but Gilles Peterson has been riding for this track for a minute now and I've been feeeling it!

I finally got my hands on it, and immediately dropped it into the 2009 JAMS playlist. So dope.
It features Ahu (aka Dolly) who featured on some Flying Lotus tracks on (the epic) Los Angeles.

Check it!

Sa Ra Creative Partners

I was sitting here with my Itunes playing one of chill playlists and I just about had a religious experience when my radio rip of Sa Ra Creative Partners "Bone Song" came on (song is HOT HOT HEAT), so I Googled around and lo and BEHOLD their album is DROPPING in June (6.9.2009) to be exact. It looks to be a double album full of no doubt jamz (some featuring Erykah Badu -- who they worked with on New Amerykah), check out the full rundown over at
ParisDJs website here.

So I got my countdown clock set, and am eagerly awaiting the soundtrack to my summer.

In the meantime, tie yourself over with the fantabulous Taz of SaRa and his Ti$avision.
