Legendary jazz drummer Steve Reid recently passed leaving another void in the world of free jazz. Having played with everyone from the likes of James Brown, Fela Kuti, Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman, classics such as Martha &the Vandellas "Dancing in the Streets", and most recently alongside electronic producer Kieren Hebden aka Four tet, Steve has definitely gotten around and made his rhythmic mark in many circles and styles of music.
