D'Angelo return album has finally arrived!

Wow what a surprise this was. He has kept us waiting for some 14 years, but he comes back and still delivers strong material, so really, we can't be that mad. After all, he did leave us with, in this writer's opinion, one of the greatest albums of all time.

While you are at it, check out this great lil piece on the man and the mystique that surrounds him.

And if you've got 80 minutes to spare, this Red Bull Music Academy sit down he did with Nelson George earlier this year was quite enlightening.

D'angelo is back!!!!

D is back, touring around Europe and playing new music such as this here entitled "The Charade"

BIG BIG BIG BIG!

D'angelo "Black Hole Sun"

Wow, where did this come from? D'angelo cover of Soundgarden's epic "Black Hole Sun". Word is that this is an old demo from some years back, still very welcomed.

So a bit of news is leaking about the forthcoming D'Angelo album. According to Billboard , D' will be collabo-ing with Cee-Lo, Raphael Saadiq, Q-Tip, and Roy Hargrove- There are also rumours of some Mark Ronson and Prince support on there.

In addition, D' is planning to do some touring this summer through Europe and the States. I hope he can still bring the ole magic...

Mickey Factz "Africa"

So this cat Mickey Factz has been realeasing a track once a week as part of some ongoing mixtape, which is cool- I havent heard too much of em, but my ears definitely perked up when i heard that he was using D'angelo's "Africa"(one of my fav cuts on one of my fav albums) as a backdrop on this weeks track. After he alphabetically name drops nations in Africa, including Ghana(holla), as an intro he goes in and does this track justice, well done !!

"If Bush feels that he cant stand terror send the troops to Africa and make the land better"

D'ANGELO NEWS..kind of!

Know that I consider D'angelo the Al Green/ Curtis Mayfield/ Marvin Gaye of our generation, seriously, thats how important i think dude is. We even started off this blog on a goodfoot with a post on him.

Im super excited to first, see a pic of him out and about in the public eye, and second of all, hear that there is some music on its way, which we pretty much already knew. Anyways click on the link below to see more pics and read the news for your self.
