Lil Wayne Performed 6'7 on SNL

On the fifth day of Christmas, SNL did give to us a very hot performance of Weezy doing (the best song of the end of 2010) "6'7". Normally live hip-hop is quite a snooze, but Weezy is bursting with energy and just look at how stoked the band is here! I could barely stay seated in my desk chair.

Looking forward to a 2011 full of Weezy at the tippy top of his game. Keep your nose clean, kid.

Erykah Badu ft Lil Wayne- Jump in the Air and Stay There (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

Badu & Weezy!!! Powers Combine

So just like a second ago, OKSG wrote me to tell me that somewhere there was a new Erykah Badu & Lil Wayne track floating around somewhere. A bit of quick sleuthing proved that there was a very rough rough bit of this awesomeness. It's called "Jump in the Air and Stay There" and there are (according to the ever-reliable Okayplayer crew) ten different versions featuring ten different MCs and it's uncertain whether the track will make the album. Well, I, for one, can't wait to hear all ten, but a muffled version of one works for me for now. Hope it makes the cut.

This news comes on the heels of the glorious news (via Pinboard blog)that Miz Badu's album is pretty much "in the can" and will be dropping early next year. 2010 is already looking like fi-yah!

Flying Lotus x Lil Wayne x Muhsinah

FlyLo doing the damn thing right now. Here are a couple of remixes/ collabos that are sounding dope.
First is a remix of Lil Wayne's "I Feel Like Dying"

which you can download over at XLR8R along with the heavy HEAVY instrumental which you can freestyle over while feeling like dying...

and second is this great track "Lose My Fuse" that he produced for the lovely Muhsinah

which you can download here

enjoy!

Wha' Happened?

So we happened to hear the newly leaked Lil Wayne album and me and Oksoundsgood are NOT impressed. What happened here? This was supposed to be one of the best albums of the decade....Disappointed is not even the word. I don't even know what the word is. Certainly something more dramatic, more dire, but frankly I don't even wanna talk about it.

Excuse me, I have to get back to this Wale mixtape.

oksoundsgood edit: Still love you though weezy (no homo) and for the record, I am feelin about a third of the tracks but overall not that hot, especially compared to like Dedication 2. I think alot of people who are raving over this being a superb album where just anticipating it for so long that thatd be hapy with anything, anyways back to Dedication 2 and Wale.

Lil Wayne - The Carter 3

So possibly one of the best/most-anticipated albums of the year/decade/millenia Lil Wayne's The Carter 3 just "leaked". I am not saying download it. I am not saying DON'T download it. I'm just sayin'......

On another note, I have been listening to that Wale mixtapenonstop, and MAN that album is like an epic film. I laughed, I cried, I jumped out of my seat and danced. It's an EXPERIENCE. Feel free to download that free download. You'll even find Lil Wayne on there!
