Robert Glasper - All Matter (feat Bilal)

Lots of gems on this week's Gilles Peterson (including two incredible live tracks by Gil Scott Heron, from his new album!) and this track by Robert Glasper featuring Bilal, really grabbed me by the ears and throat and heart.

His 2009 album "Double Booked" is dope, cop it you jazz heads!

Big CHuune alert: Starkey "OK Luv" ft. badness

Can't get enough of this tune from American dubstep producer Starkey. This song which features Badness is so bouncey. This youtube radio rip doesnt do it justice, so track it down proper as an EP/maxi single? which comes with proper wicked remixes such as this one by one Stagga.

@Jay Electronica @The Roots Jam

I have been wildly enjoying being on Twitter. It is a fantastic way to get in touch and keep apprised of your favorite musicians -- provided they are ON Twitter.

@Questlove constantly post gems, and one of the latest was this video from The Roots' much lauded (even Frasier Crane was there!) Grammy Week jam session, where the great Jay Electronica (where that album at, dude?) rolled through to do Exhibit C, and was joined by (OKSG doppleganger) the mighty Mos Def.

NEW LEAKED D'ANGELO !!!

The XX Mini Mix

Jamie(the beatmaker) of heavily lauded The XX, has made a mini mix (5 minutes in length) for the BBC that serves as a nice taster of sorts as to what is on his musical radar. Good stuff here...No tracklist.

File Under Awesome: Santigold to produce new Devo album

(via Perez Hilton) Wow 2010 is popping up fresh! On the heels of her successful "debut", Santigold is making power moves with this rumoured production gig with Devo. Apparently she beat out applicants like Snoop Dogg (?!) and Fatboy Slim for the gig.

Nice look Santi!
